Theme-A-Licious March Madness (week 2)

The theme for this month is March Madness, "Work on something different every day... it's madness... of the funnest possible kind."  I used the Random Number Generator to pick a number from 1-96 for a WIP from my WIPocalypse list to stitch on each day.  I'll post an update every Saturday with the choices for the prior week.

March 8 - #12, I'll Get You My Pretty:  I stitched the moon, broom, and bat and it's finished!

This is so much fun!  Maybe I should do this all year long!  LOL!

November 4-6, per Random Number Generator!

I'm using the Random Number Generator to choose something new to stitch everyday from my WIPocalypse page!

November 4 - #52 Day of the Dead.  I'm making this flowery skull from the Twisted Stitches book.  My daughter asked me to stitch it for her.  I stitched the vines and flower on the cheek.  This is on 18 ct white Aida.
Day of the Dead update #2
November 5 - #36 Quoth the Raven.  This is a free design from Lady Kell of Kincavel.  It will say "Never More."  This will be a gift for my nephew, who is an Edgar Allan Poe fan (who isn't?).  I finished stitching the black raven.  This is on 14 ct red Aida.
Quoth the Raven update #2
November 6 - #27 The 12 Days of Christmas.  I haven't touched this Prairie Schooler design since I started it for Day #30 of the Ultimate Crazy January Challenge.  I am using Victoria Motto Sampler Shoppe hand-dyed floss for the dark red.  I finished the vines and the words and started the hen.  Linda has also started this design, and she gave me the 18 ct light tan Aida for this.  Thank you, Linda!

Days #28-#30 - Three new starts!

Day #28 of my Ultimate Crazy January Challenge was Cut Thru' North Pole House from Bothy Threads.  I bought this kit from Bothy Threads in the UK because I thought it was just adorable!  I love all the details!

Day #29 of my Ultimate Crazy January Challenge was Spring & Fall from The Prairie Schooler.  I started off with the month of March, the lion and the lamb.  Someone gave me this cross stitch fabric with printed borders.  There are three pieces of it with a blank square, circle, and oval in the middle.  I decided to use this for all 12 months in the Spring & Fall and Summer & Winter charts by cutting the pieces into fourths.  I don't mind the printed fabric at all, and think it will look pretty neat!  Linda, Rosemary, and I are having a SAL of these 12 months and trying to finish one per month.

Day #30 of my Ultimate Crazy January Challenge is The 12 Days of Christmas from The Prairie Schooler.  I am stitching on light tan 18 ct Aida that Linda gave to me.  It's just perfect for this chart!  Thank you, Linda!  I started near the center with "3 French hens."

I missed starting my last four new starts on time because I was staying at my parents' house for awhile, but now I'm home and excited to catch up!  Who knows, I might actually finish something this month, even though Linda and I plan to start 29 more new projects for each day in February, too.  Then I think we'll have enough to keep us busy for the rest of the year, don't you?
