Turtle Trot SAL - February

For the Turtle Trot SAL, we choose 13 WIPs to work on and post progress pics on the 13th of every month.  You can join us by signing up at BAP-Attack.  I'll keep the current pics on my Turtle Trot SAL page.  Here is my progress on some of them.  You can click on the picture to see it bigger.  Hopefully next time you'll see more stitching on all 13!

Universal Unity:  I stitched the grass below the deer and started on the tiger. Can you see his stripes?

Thomas Kinkade's Lamplight Bridge:  The picture is printed on the fabric.  I finished the half-stitches on the flowers and bushes above the bridge and the stem stitch along the top of the bridge.  There will be lots of French knots in the flowers on the right side coming up next.

Debbie, I changed my email address in Google accounts and on my blogger profile. Not sure why the other one is failing, but hopefully this one will work... Thanks for letting me know about the problem.

Great projects! Is your stitching buddy a puggle?

Hi Annie, you have noreply-comment so I hope you see my answer here. Teddy is a Labrador Retriever/Mastiff mix. He weighs 116 pounds, so I'm sure he's not a puggle! He is 2 years old.

Teddy seems to be very much at home sitting there next to you. Don't you just love it.

Your stitching is grand, and as always love your choices.

I have never stitched on printed fabric like the "Lamplight bridge" piece your doing, I think I would get confused between what I had and hadn't stitched.

You are right about 'Lamplight Bridge' (well of course you are right as you are stitching it) what I mean is I can see the stitching on printed fabric now. I have done one of a fairy in a similar style many years ago. It is wonderful! I also like lots how the Universal Unity coming along. Is that a tiger appearing? Good luck on stitching.
