I should know better! Santa ornament update #1
I should know better than to leave my cross stitch unattended when I leave the room! One of the cats or dog nibbled on my Santa ornament! Maybe it was the yummy plastic canvas that couldn't be resisted. Thank goodness the needle was still in the ornament and not in someone's throat! I'm going to finish it anyway, and the tree just won't have a star on top. Oh well.....

Q-Snap huggies
Thanks to a recommendation from Julie & Yes Dear, I ordered these from Christine's Q-Snap Huggies! She has a great website that shows the fabric choices and prices for each size. I ordered them last Wednesday, she started sewing the next day, and I received them on Monday! I will recommend her to every stitcher I know!

A Paris Kiss update #6
After a month, I finally picked this up and stitched for several hours today. It doesn't look like much since my last update, but the man's jacket is about 2 inches longer. When I finally get to the bottom, I will start stitching the woman's face so we can see them kissing!

Santa's List - finished!
I finally finished cross-stitching another Christmas ornament from my Crazy January Challenge, but haven't actually finished it. I need to cut it out and mount to cardboard, then attach lace border. I bought this kit on eBay for 99 cents.

Free Cross Stitch patterns
I've been searching the internet for free cross stitch patterns and downloading lots of PDF files. I had no idea there was so much available! I told my mom and son to be on the lookout at yard sales or thrift stores for cross stitch supplies like floss and fabric. Now I regret not buying all the 25 cent kits I saw at a thrift store last year. Even if I wasn't interested in the pattern, I could have used the Aida! I've been buying linen and evenweave on eBay too. I can't wait to try something new! I love reading cross stitch blogs and Yahoo groups messages to get more ideas. I was just a cross stitch kit stitcher before, but now I've discovered a whole new world!

TUSAL #6
Thanks to daffycat for reminding me about the TUSAL pic this month! I don't think my jar of ORTs has changed much since the last New Moon. I haven't been stitching for a few weeks... better get back to work!
