Day #28 of the Ultimate Crazy January Challenge is Heaven and Nature Sampler from Cross Stitch Gold magazine, issue #18. This design caught my eye because it has so many different animals in it, like a moose, porcupine, bobcat, meerkat, bat, raccoon, wolf, fox, etc. Santa's sleigh and reindeer are at the bottom, too! I started by stitching the two hanging pinecone weights under the cuckoo clock. I'm stitching over 2 on 28 ct white evenweave and it will be 12" x 16".

Another WIP I started last January with forest animals is
Picnic Area from The Prairie Schooler. Today I stitched the letter A. The fabric is a dark green 14 ct Aida, but it looks brighter in the photo. This will be 9" x 7".

I love the sampler Debbie. Just wish it didn't have so many quarter stitches or I was 20 years younger and could see to stitch on higher count fabric. lol Picnic Area is looking good. Love the bear.

Great starts. The sampler is going be very pretty.
Oh I love all the animals in the sampler. Beautiful piece. The 2nd one is too cute too. Great job on both.
Great new starts:)
So many beautiful starts, so impressed!
Both so different but lovely in their own ways. Heaven and Nature is so delicate in the picture but your stitching looks a lot brighter.
