Two Prairie Schooler SAL updates!

Spring & Fall - March update #4
On Saturdays, I stitch on the monthly designs from The Prairie Schooler, Spring & Fall and Summer & Winter, with Linda and Rosemary.  The lion has a head now!  It looks like I'll finish it next week, and then I can start on the April chart.

Santa's 12 Days of Christmas update #7
On Sundays, I stitch on Santa's 12 Days of Christmas with Linda and Kaye.  It looks like Santa needs some pants!  I would have kept stitching and finished the other half of the pears, but I dropped my needle and couldn't find it, so that was my sign to pack it up and wait until next week.

I actually stitched outside for a little while on Sunday.  The sunlight was fantastic, even better than my Ott light, but it got to be too hot at 88 degrees so I gave up and came back inside.  I will try it again some day!

All WIPs coming along nicely. I love stitching outside! Unfortunately on the north we are still having winter... maybe 3 more months...

OOOH, you have an Ott light. I'm so jealous. The lighting in our house is awful since we lost our floor lamp to old age.

I've been saving up some cash to try to get one of those Ott lights and a storage cabinet for my projects. Do you recommend one in particular? Floor model or table?

What is the taupe colored sheep's background in the first pic goint o be (or is it done)? I really like the animals. So cute!

Hugs,
Chelle

"going to be" - yes I can type, but I have picked all of the skin off of the tip of my sewing finger (don't ask, I have no idea why) and I think I may just be reading the rest of the day instead of commenting!

They both look great! I've never tried stitching outside....I'm afraid I'd get something dirty. :P

You are soooo close with March, it looks really good - and I'm liking the background interest of the fabric with the stitching. It works very well. Santa is coming along quite well too and probably will be next seen with his britches won't he?
