February TUSAL

Here is my TUSAL blog post for February!  Billy approves of my ORTs!  Be sure to check in on Daffycat's blog with your TUSAL post, too!
TUSAL 2013 #2
I bought these towels on eBay to cross stitch on the Aida band.  I also bid on some pastel colored towels, but I was outbid.  Now I just have to find the perfect designs!

  1. Those towels are very pretty!:) we don't get here fine aida cloth in different colors, just white and cream. We do get 11 count aida fabric in colors but the quality is just ok. I use them for bedspreads or table cloth.

  3. Oh, Billy is adorable and look how your ORT jar is already growing! Those towels will be so much fun to stitch. And they do last, I have some I've made for different seasons and after 15+ years, they are still nice enough to put out and use.

Can't wait to see what you decide to stitch on them!

  5. I have the best pattern for towels, btw. It's four kitties peeking over their paws. Adorable. I've made towels for so any people I have stopped counting, and the kitty towel is the most popular by far!

  6. Love the pic of Billy with your ort jar. Great towel colors. Red and green would be perfect for christmas designs.

  7. Absolutely Purrfect >^..^< Maybe somebody is hoping those ORTs will be part of a new toy (i.e. Christmas ornament placed on a low branch) this coming Christmas. Happy Stitching, Toni http://peddlerjo.blogspot.com/

  10. oh cute, can only find some occasional colors in towels. Usually don't match what I've already got going on.
Be careful the kitty doesn't knock over the jar! My ferret did that to my first jar once the year was over so I started keeping in a game card holder box. I ended up with rectangular rainbow tribbles.
